Jackinho left Metizport and went inactive

The Swedish esports organisation Metizport has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattsson has stepped down from the active lineup. The announcement was made on the social media platform X.

According to the official statement from the organisation, Jackinho has taken a break from competition to focus on his mental health. The announcement did not specify when he intends to return to the CS2 professional scene.

Mattsson joined Metizport just under a year ago, in September 2023. The 25-year-old player served as both the team's sniper and captain. Jackinho's average rating since joining Metizport has been 1.01. Currently, the team is ranked 86th in the HLTV rankings.

The club now has less than two weeks to find a replacement for Mattsson, as they are scheduled to compete in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 from August 21 to 25, having qualified through the online qualifiers.

Current Metizport roster:

- Adam "adamb" Angström

- Linus "nilo" Bergman

- Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora

- Anton "Sapec" Palmgren

Coach: Ahmed "abdi" Abdi
