Renowned Ukrainian cyber athlete and commentator Arseniy "ceh9" Trinozhenko has shared his thoughts on the replacement of Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen with Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski in the G2 Counter-Strike 2 roster.
Trinozhenko believes that the club has made a significant mistake and that G2 should have considered younger players. He expressed this opinion in a comment to the portal bo3.gg.
"This is a complete failure. Many young and experienced players are on the market right now, but the team has chosen a veteran who should have retired and become a coach long ago. This might work in the short term, but it will have no impact in the long run."
This is the second change in the G2 roster in the last couple of weeks. Last month, the club excluded Nemanja "nexa" Isaković from its lineup, who subsequently moved to BLEED, and replaced him with Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa from M80. The revamped G2 roster will debut at the Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
