Insider Vladislav "harumi" Radvilovich has speculated why AMKAL has moved one of its players, Kaysar "ICY" Faiznurov, to the reserve bench.
Radvilovich suggested that this situation may have arisen because the Kazakh esports player was allegedly undergoing trials with Cloud9 without permission. According to one of harumi's theories, ICY might have also issued an ultimatum to AMKAL regarding his transfer to the American organisation.
"ICY shaved his head about two weeks ago, by the way. More or less in line with the timing of his trials with another team!" added the insider on his Telegram channel.
Aleksei "OverDrive" Biryukov also stated that the trials with Cloud9 could have been the reason for Faiznurov's exclusion from AMKAL's active roster.
"People say ICY was secretly trialling with Cloud9. Although it’s quite odd, considering the level of the teams and the fact that any trial quickly becomes common knowledge."
Let’s not forget that ICY has been playing for the Russian organisation since December 2023. Before this, he spent more than two years with AVANGAR. The player himself has not yet commented on the situation.
