Former TSM Counter-Strike 2 player Timofey "interz" Yakushin may be rejoining Cloud9. This information was shared by the Russian-speaking insider known as solutioN00. According to their data, the team is playing practice matches with Yakushin and former Amkal Esports sniper Kaysar "ICY" Faiznurov.
At the time of publication, representatives of the club have not commented on the transfer rumours involving these esports athletes. Yakushin left Cloud9 in January 2023. Afterward, he spent six months playing for TSM, but was later also kicked out of the team. Earlier, insider Vladislav "harumi" Radvilovich noted that interz was bought out by an unnamed organisation.
In the spring, Cloud9 announced the start of a team restructuring. Initially, Denis "electroNic" Sharipov left the team, moving to Virtus.pro, followed by Abay "HObbit" Khasenov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy being placed on the bench. The club also parted ways with assistant coach Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov. The management is now building a new lineup around Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov and Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov.
