FURIA's assistant coach, Viacheslav "innersh1ne" Britvin, shared his thoughts on the European closed qualifiers for the RMR tournaments ahead of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 on his personal Telegram channel:
"The biggest disappointment during the RMR qualifiers so far is BLEED. kassad seemed to be doing well in the spring, the organisation spent a fortune on transfers, brought in three new players, and… that’s it.
ENCE is uncompetitive and needs to reshuffle their roster. It was clear that with podi as their sniper, they wouldn’t get far, though there were other internal issues too. I would keep gla1ve and sdy and rebuild the roster around them. The team desperately needs a proper sniper.
Monte, OG, it’s clear. I had faith in Monte, I thought they’d qualify for the RMR. As for OG, they’ve reached a point of decline where they can’t even make it through the qualifiers.
Insilio played well. I was rooting for them and hoping they’d advance.
AMKAL and 1WIN are a mystery to me.
TSM, unlike many, managed to reach the RMR. The Danish rebuild is working.
Who would have thought that Z10 wouldn’t qualify for the LAN? That’s a surprise.
Oh, and PARIVISION was quite lucky not to be disqualified for rule violations (seriously)."
He also reminded everyone that the RMR tournaments for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will take place in China in November, with the Major itself starting on the 30th of the same month, featuring a $1.25 million prize pool.
