Former BetBoom Team coach Vyacheslav "innersh1ne" Britvin has commented on his joining FURIA as an assistant coach. The Russian esports professional announced that he will no longer work with CIS teams. Britvin shared this news on his personal Telegram channel.
"I am joining FURIA as an assistant coach and am very excited to work with the guys, especially with FalleN. I am already at the bootcamp with the team.
I did not expect such a turn of events, but towards the end of the summer off-season, guerri invited me to have a chat, and I quickly realised that I would fit well into this team, with a range of responsibilities that align perfectly with my specialisation. Moreover, FURIA has assembled a very strong roster. The team made only one change, but it significantly strengthened the squad.
Considering the overall notion that I do not see myself working with CIS teams in the future, transitioning to a Brazilian team also seems a logical step and aligns with my medium to long-term career trajectory and goals.
We are diligently preparing for EWC in Riyadh; it will be interesting. I will share more details later."
Today, FURIA officially announced the signing of Felipe "skullz" Medeiros. Additionally, the club has announced changes to the coaching staff. The team's former coach, Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira, has transitioned to the position of Director of Esports at the organisation.
