The prestigious LAN tournament IEM Cologne 2024 will be held from 7 to 18 August in Cologne, Germany, with a prize pool of $1 million. The final stage of the event will be played at the LANXESS arena.
IEM Cologne 2024 will begin with the Play-In stage, featuring sixteen teams. In a Double Elimination bracket, they will compete for eight spots in the group stage of the championship.
The group stage will take place from 10 to 13 August, also in a Double Elimination format. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, with the group winners moving directly to the semi-finals, while the second and third-placed teams will proceed to the quarter-finals.
The playoffs of IEM Cologne 2024 will be held from 16 to 18 August in a Single Elimination format. All matches, except for the final, will be best-of-three (BO3), while the final will be best-of-five (BO5).
