Horvy has made a return to Brazil, now joining W7M

According to a report from Dust2 Brasil, former Wildcard coach João "horvy" Horvath has returned to the Brazilian scene and is set to join W7M soon. On July 1st, Wildcard announced that they had reached an agreement with horvy to release him from the remaining two years of his contract, allowing him to pursue opportunities in Brazil.

Horvy's return to Brazil follows two years as a coach in Europe and North America. He previously worked with Entropiq Prague and their academy team before joining Wildcard in mid-2023. During his tenure at Wildcard, horvy played a key role in establishing the team in the upper ranks of the North American CS2 scene, navigating through various roster changes as the organisation sought stability.

Now, horvy's focus has shifted back to his homeland, with Dust2 Brasil confirming his signing with W7M. Currently, ranked 23rd in Brazil according to HLTV's latest rankings, W7M boasts a youthful roster with an average age of 22.6, offering considerable potential for growth in the latter half of 2024.

W7M is notably recognised in North America for their current Legacy player, Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco, who was acquired from W7M in May. Another current W7M member, Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho, had a stint in North America earlier this year with the short-lived LOS roster.

With Horvy onboard, W7M's lineup is expected to include:

- Joao "jz" Lourenço

- Vitor "stormzyn" Yamauchi

- Marcos "fokiu" Paulo

- Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho (on loan from Fluxo)

- Cauã "card" Cardoso (on loan from MIBR Academy)

- João "horvy" Horvath (Coach)
