GuardiaN returned to the CS pro scene as a coach

Renowned Slovakian esports player Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács has returned to the professional Counter-Strike scene as the coach of a brand-new team, BC.Game, sponsored by the cryptocurrency casino of the same name. BC.Game announced the establishment of its CS division on Monday, 24 June.

The current roster of BC.Game is unknown. The organisation is expected to reveal the remaining members of the roster by the end of June. In a comment to HLTV, Kovács explained that he is personally responsible for selecting the players for the team.

"I am assembling a team of players who have not yet had the opportunity to perform in their optimal roles and who deserve more chances to showcase their true potential. With my extensive experience of both highs and lows in the world of CS, I believe I can guide and support them on their path to achieving the best results."

GuardiaN has not competed on the pro scene since leaving Sampi at the end of 2022. Ladislav is one of the most decorated esports athletes in competitive Counter-Strike, having won 17 international titles between 2014 and 2019 under the banners of Virtus.pro, NAVI, and FaZe. He began his career back in 2006 and has since earned around $800,000 in prize money.
