Getting to the semi-finals is a good result for Astralis

Astralis player Nicolai "device" Reedtz summarised his team’s performance at the recent BLAST Premier World Final 2024 in Singapore, where Astralis finished in 3rd-4th place, earning $85,000 in prize money. In an interview with Esports.gg, Reedtz described the result as positive.

He expressed satisfaction with the team’s initial two matches and stated that reaching the semi-finals was a good outcome. Reedtz explained that Astralis did not have high expectations heading into the tournament, aiming instead to evaluate the effectiveness of their training sessions ahead of the RMR. Overall, he felt pleased with their efforts, though he acknowledged that losing is never a pleasant experience, but part of the reality.

The Danish esports player also discussed the team’s plans as they prepare for the RMR tournaments.

He mentioned their return to Europe, where they will review what worked and what did not. The team will focus on finding a good balance in their approach leading up to the RMR, outlining this as their immediate goal.

The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 took place from 30 October to 3 November in Singapore, with a total prize pool of $1 million, distributed among eight teams. In the final, G2 secured a 3:0 victory over Team Spirit, and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov was named the tournament's MVP.
