G2 signs 18-year-old Russian to academy

The German esports organisation G2 has announced a roster change in their youth team for Counter-Strike 2, competing under the tag G2 Ares. The announcement was made on the organisation's official page on the social media platform X.

The new addition to the team is 18-year-old Russian esports player Klimentiy "kl1m" Krivosheev, who replaces Serbian player Dušan "⁠d0jca⁠" Dojčinović. Dojčinović had been with the team since its signing in September this year, and has now been moved to the bench by G2.

The updated G2 Ares roster will debut today in the closed qualifiers for CCT Season 2 Europe Series 14. Currently, G2 Ares is ranked 213th in the HLTV world rankings.

- Mihai "⁠fNk⁠" Costache

- Henri "⁠xezr⁠" Jõgi

- Artur "⁠hitori⁠" Paliantz

- Vilius "⁠tAk⁠" Kėserauskas

- Klimentiy "kl1m" Krivosheev
