In the first round of the playoffs, G2 defeated Team Spirit 2:1 (13:8 on Mirage, 14:16 on Nuke, 13:5 on Ancient). Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov's squad ended their tournament run, finishing in 5th-8th place and earning $40,000 in prize money.
G2, on the other hand, has secured at least a 3rd-4th place finish and a prize of $85,000. In the next round, they will face the winner of the Vitality vs. Virtus.pro matchup.
