David "frozen" Čerňanský of FaZe Clan commented on their victory over the new Cloud9 roster at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024 for CS2. He shared his thoughts on the intense match during an interview on the tournament broadcast.
"Cloud9 played well. We had no information to prepare for this lineup. Nothing was known about them, so we had to figure things out on the fly.
I just got my arse handed to me on Inferno—I wasn't in the zone. I couldn't make the right calls. Cloud9 were just toying with me on that map, credit where credit's due.”
FaZe Clan defeated Cloud9 with a score of 2-1; however, on the third map, Mirage, the teams played overtime to determine the winner. In the next round of the group stage of BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024, frozen's team will face the winner of the G2 Esports vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas match, while C9 will play against the loser.
