Former CS 1.6 pro player founded his club

Former professional Counter-Strike 1.6 player Dennis "walle" Wallenberg founded his eSports organisation, Elite Klan.

Elite Klan has already announced the acquisition of the Finnish club Vellamo along with its CS2 roster, which includes relatively unknown players from Finland; currently, the team is not ranked in the HLTV rankings. In addition, Elite Klan has signed a women’s Counter-Strike 2 roster, which will compete under the tag Team Violet.

Furthermore, by the end of the year, the organisation plans to launch its own marketplace for professional gamers, where computers, gaming desks/chairs, peripherals, and other devices can be purchased.

The 37-year-old founder of Elite Klan, walle, competed in the professional CS 1.6 scene from 2001 to 2010. The Swede represented teams such as SK, NIP, mTw, and others. Throughout his career, he earned $110,000 in prize money.

Walle emphasised that his organisation will not work with sponsors from the betting/gambling industry.

The Elite Klan VELLAMO roster:

- Ville "VilleS" Saviniemi

- Mikko "ItzMqss" Heiskanen

- Jonas "VeleHo" Sipilä

- Jero "StE4" Kuula

- Veeti "Veiska" Pekkola

- Ville "r0usty" Turunen (coach)
