Professional CS2 player Igor "Forester" Bezotechesky shared his thoughts on Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov's leadership skills, with whom he played at 1WIN.
"Boombl4 is a tier-1 caller. He needs the right players who understand what he wants to achieve in a round. If inexperienced players come in and Kirill sticks to his usual calls, they might struggle. I found it very comfortable to play with him; we had good communication in-game. We helped each other out in certain moments, and everything was smooth.
By the end of our time at 1WIN, I believe we could have played as well as the Cloud9 of last year and cracked the top 15 on HLTV. There was a period of three to four months before the roster split where we were a very strong team. I even felt that on Nuke and Inferno, we were playing better than anyone else in the world. I knew that we were executing situations on those maps very well."
Boombl4 and Forester played together at 1WIN from February to November 2023. The team won several international online tournaments but failed to qualify for major LAN events. Later, Mikhaylov joined Cloud9, while Bezotechesky moved to Amkal Esports.
