The Russian coach and analyst for CS2, Vyacheslav "Innersh1ne" Britvin, will continue his career with the Brazilian club FURIA Esports. This information was shared on the team's social media accounts. Britvin also commented on the announcement on his personal Telegram channel.
"I am joining FURIA as an assistant coach and am very excited to work with the guys, especially with FalleN.
I am already at the bootcamp with the team. I didn’t expect this turn of events, but towards the end of the summer off-season, guerri invited me for a chat, and I quickly realised that I would fit well into this team, and the range of responsibilities matches my specialisation perfectly.
Additionally, FURIA has assembled a very strong roster. The guys made only one change to the lineup, but it significantly strengthened the team.
Considering the overall thought that I (globally) do not see myself working with CIS lineups in the future, moving to a Brazilian team also seems like a logical step and aligns with my mid-to-long-term career trajectory and goals.
We are diligently preparing for the EWC in Riyadh, and it will be interesting. I will share more details later."
Before joining FURIA Esports, Innersh1ne worked as a coach for Aurora Gaming and BetBoom Team. Before his coaching role, he also served as an analyst for FaZe Clan, MOUZ, and other teams.
It was also recently announced that Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, formerly of Team Liquid, has joined FURIA Esports. The debut of the revamped roster is set for the Esports World Cup 2024 in CS2, which begins on 17 July.
The current FURIA Esports roster:
Yuri "Yuurih" Santos
Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes
