Founded in 2021, the Turkish esports organisation Eternal Fire has relocated from Turkey to Hungary. The club announced this on their social media page on X. According to the official statement from Eternal Fire, this decision was driven by their ambition to reach a global level.
"With our current players and team, we are making even greater strides towards becoming a global club, and to engrave our name in gold letters on the world stage, we have decided to move our headquarters, Counter-Strike operations, and training centre from Turkey to Hungary, where we are confident we can compete globally on equal footing."
The next tournament where Eternal Fire's Counter-Strike 2 roster will compete is the ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 in Poland, scheduled from 25 to 27 October. Recently, the team placed 9th-12th at IEM Rio 2024 and secured silver at both ESL Pro League Season 20 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2. Currently, the roster holds the seventh position in the HLTV world rankings.
