The organisers of the upcoming Esports World Cup 2024 for Counter-Strike 2 have announced the draw for the first stage of the tournament.
14 teams have been paired up. Team Spirit will face off against MIBR; G2 will compete against The MongolZ; Virtus.pro will play against Complexity; and NAVI will battle FURIA. The matches will be played in a BO3 format.
Winners of the opening matches will advance directly to the playoffs (Single Elimination), while the losers will enter the intermediate Play-In stage (Double Elimination).

- MOUZ vs Sashi Esport
- Team Vitality vs M80
- FaZe Clan vs FlyQuest
- G2 vs. The MongolZ
- Virtus.pro vs. Complexity
- NAVI vs. FURIA
Esports World Cup 2024 will take place from 17 to 21 July in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The tournament will feature 15 teams competing for a prize pool of one million dollars.
