ESL overturned HEROIC's map win due to Snap Tap usage

Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski's team received a technical loss on the first map of their match against NIP during the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 20.

The event organisers made this decision after one of HEROIC's players was found using Snap Tap. Previously, the tournament operator had publicly banned the use of this and similar features at all its LAN tournaments for Counter-Strike 2, starting from ESL Pro League Season 20.

HEROIC initially won the first map against NIP with a score of 13:10 on Ancient. The team also secured victory in the second game, making the series score 1:1.

ESL Pro League Season 20 is taking place in Malta from 3 to 22 September, with a total prize pool of $750,000 to be shared among 32 teams.
