The Romanian esports club Nexus has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster, parting ways with Ersin "ERSIN" Kiriak. The announcement was made on Nexus's social media page on X.
Kiriak had been representing Nexus since January of this year, during which time the team managed to break into the top 50 of the HLTV global rankings. However, since April, the team's performance has declined, and they are currently ranked 116th.
The organisation has yet to announce the name of the player who will fill the vacant spot on the roster. There are also no updates on ERSIN's plans.
In May of this year, Nexus's CS2 roster also saw the departure of Alexandru "s0und" Ștefan, who was bought out by the organisation 9INE. He was replaced by Daniel-Cătălin "Ciocardau" Purice.
Current Nexus roster:
- Cătălin-Ionuț "BTN" Stanescu
- Adrian "XELLOW" Guță
- Daniel-Cătălin "Ciocardau" Purice
- Cosmin "ragga" Teodorescu
