The Finnish esports organisation ENCE has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster, with the club moving coach Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński to the reserve position. The announcement was made on social media platform X.
According to the official statement, this decision was made due to unsatisfactory results and differing views on gameplay. The organisation is currently searching for a new coach to fill the vacant position.
The renowned Polish esports figure began working with ENCE in November last year. Under his guidance, the team achieved 20th-22nd place at the Copenhagen Major, 21st-28th at ESL Pro League Season 19, 9th-10th at YaLLa Compass 2024, and 5th-6th at Skyesports Championship 2024. Before joining ENCE, Jakub had coached Apeks, MAD Lions, Envy, and Virtus.pro.
It is worth noting that ENCE failed to qualify for the European RMR tournament ahead of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, having won only one of four matches in the closed qualifier.
The current ENCE roster is as follows:
- Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
- Kacper "Kylar" Walukiewicz
- Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski
- Viktor "sdy" Orujew
- Paavo "podi" Heiskanen
