The American esports organization Elevate has ended its partnership with coach Joshua "m1cks" Micks. The announcement was made on social media platform X.
m1cks had been with the team for less than two months. Before joining Elevate, he worked with organizations such as NRG, Detonate, Nordavind, and Cloud9. It is currently unknown who will fill the vacant coaching position for Elevate.
The American esports coach commented on his departure from Elevate: "I don't have the time right now. Maybe you'll see me again, maybe not, who knows."
In February of this year, Elevate announced its return to the professional Counter-Strike scene by signing a roster that previously played under the tag timbermen. The team failed to qualify for the major in Copenhagen and finished 9th-16th at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024. Currently, Elevate is ranked 64th in the HLTV world rankings.
Current Elevate roster:
- Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
- Derek "dare" Brown
- Shane "shane" Dressler
- Jackson "Peeping" Cornwell
- Deni "dea" Ediev
