Team Spirit member Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has emerged as the champion of the second season of FACEIT's Counter-Strike 2 competition in the European region. This announcement was made by the platform's administration on their blog.
Throughout the second season, Kryshkovets accumulated 4830 ELO points, pulling ahead of his closest competitor, Vladislav "Kvem" Korol, by 206 points. Oleg "baz" Kulinich secured the third position with 4522 ELO points. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov from G2 finished in eighth place. Notably, Kryshkovets also won the first season of FACEIT's CS2 competition.
In North America, Paytyn "junior" Johnson from Nouns claimed the top spot, while in South America, Kaike "kye" Bertolucci, who was recently benched by FURIA, took the lead.
For his first-place finish, donk earned $25,000. The silver and bronze prize winners in Europe received $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. The third season of FACEIT's Counter-Strike 2 is set to begin this week, on July 4.
