Young talent Danil "donk" Kryshkovets from Team Spirit has been named in the prestigious Forbes magazine's annual list of the top 30 most promising Russians under 30. The 17-year-old player was a winner in the "Sports and Esports" category, alongside 19-year-old swimmer Evgenia Chikunova and 17-year-old tennis player Mirra Andreeva.
Forbes highlighted donk's high potential and his successful debut at the top level. They specifically mentioned Team Spirit's triumph at the prestigious IEM Katowice 2024 tournament, where the Russian player was named MVP.
Notably, the longlist for the "Sports and Esports" category included two other esports athletes in the Dota 2 discipline: Denis "Larl" Sigityov (Team Spirit) and Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potoraq (Falcons).
It’s worth mentioning that last year, Cloud9 player Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov was included in the Russian edition of Forbes' "30 under 30" nominees but did not make it into the top three winners.
