Organisers of the Esports Awards 2024 have announced the finalists for the "Rookie of the Year" category. The list of nominees has been published on the award's website.
Competing for the award in the "Rookie of the Year" category are eight esports athletes from various disciplines, including Russian player Danila "donk" Kryzhkovets, representing Team Spirit in CS2, and Team Falcons' Dota 2 midlaner Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak. Users can vote for one of the nominees until August 20. The choice of the users will be taken into account when determining the winner.
The Esports Awards 2024 ceremony will take place on August 24 as part of the Esports World Cup 2024. In addition to the "Rookie of the Year" category, the jury and users will determine the best disciplines, clubs, as well as the top esports athletes, casters, content creators, and other industry representatives.
