The Indonesian esports organisation Alter Ego has strengthened its Counter-Strike 2 roster ahead of the upcoming RMR tournament for the Shanghai Major. The organisation has taken Batboldyn "dobu" Gan-Erdene from ATOX on a short-term loan. The announcement was made on Alter Ego's social media page on X.
The 25-year-old Mongolian player replaces Andre "WasteOfAmmo" Yosua Poluakan, who joined the team just over two months ago on 7 August this year. dobu’s average rating over the last three months was 1.09 (across 35 maps).
Additionally, Alter Ego has made a new addition to its coaching staff, with Rafael "FeldmaN" Rodriguez joining as an analyst. Previously, the Spaniard held a similar role with Falcons.
Currently, Alter Ego ranks 83rd in the HLTV world rankings. In contrast, ATOX, which failed to qualify for the RMR tournament, holds a top-38 position. Following dobu’s departure, ATOX is left with three players, as earlier this month they also moved Nyamdorjiin "Annihilation" Tüvshintögs to the bench.
Current Alter Ego roster:

- Hyun-Pyo "XigN" Lee
- WingHei "Freeman" Cheung
