Aurora Gaming's Counter-Strike 2 player, Denis "deko" Zhukov, has expressed dissatisfaction with Valve's new requirement for tournament organisers to obtain event licences. Without these licences, tournament results will not be included in team rankings. Zhukov shared his thoughts on his personal Telegram page:
"Cool update just came out. Finally, the end of a career. Thanks, Valve."
Under the new rules, tier-3 and tier-4 teams will not be able to climb the Valve rankings and therefore will not receive invitations to qualifiers.
