The creator of the YouTube channel MOLEKURYATNIK experimented and discovered that changing screen settings—specifically the aspect ratio—can impact the stability of the connection to Counter-Strike 2 servers.
According to the data miner, to reduce packet loss and improve connection quality, one should select the 4:3 screen format in the game client settings. MOLEKURYATNIK claims to have tested this "life hack" on three different computers.
In one of the recent patches, Valve reportedly fixed a bug that was causing excessive lag (due to network issues) for some players. However, MOLEKURYATNIK noted that no noticeable improvements in this regard have been observed in CS2.
