Former Valve developer known as BurtonJ revealed that a feature from the new update in Deadlock could have made its way into Counter-Strike 2. The post was shared on his page on X.
On the night of 27 September, Deadlock introduced an initial anti-cheat system. If the system detects a cheater, it allows players in the lobby to transform them into a frog. According to BurtonJ, a similar function was planned for CS2, but instead of frogs, it involved chickens.
Deadlock is a new title from Valve. Although it has not been officially announced by the developers, its page on Steam is already accessible to all users.
