CS2 banned more than 26 thousand accounts in less than two weeks

A significant update on April 26, which introduced the "Patrol" system to Counter-Strike 2, has had a positive effect on the number of cheaters in the game.

According to CS2 Stats service, over 26 thousand accounts were banned in CS2 after the patch was released. Of these, 17.8 thousand accounts received VAC bans, while the remaining 8.3 thousand bans were game bans. The highest number of account restrictions (5.1 thousand) occurred on May 3.

The number of bans mentioned represents a small percentage of the total number of accounts in Counter-Strike 2: CS2 Stats statistics account for 32 million Steam accounts with game time in CS2.

Not long ago, dataminer Maxim "Gabe Follower" Poltaev reported that Valve has not finished working on the "Patrol" system yet - according to him, the system's functionality is not yet fully implemented in the game.
