After update, lines of code related to "suspicious shots" were discovered in Counter-Strike 2 files. This was revealed by dataminer Maksim "Gabe Follower" Poletaev on social media.
Additionally, a new algorithm has been added to the game code to detect the use of the Snap Tap feature, which is available to Razer keyboard owners. "Perhaps they are just collecting data, or maybe they will issue cooldown penalties for using it..." wrote Gabe Follower. The developers themselves have not provided any clarification.
Last week, a significant amount of code related to charms was also found in Counter-Strike 2's files. Gabe Follower speculated that this new feature could be introduced in one of the upcoming patches.
It is worth noting that in patch, Valve fixed a couple of bugs in Counter-Strike 2, updated two maps, and also adjusted the mechanics for character slowdown when taking damage.
