The founder and CEO of the American esports club Complexity, Jason Lake, has revealed the organisation's earnings for 2024.
Complexity's total income in 2024 amounted to $8,792,997, which is approximately one and a half million dollars less than the same period last year. The breakdown of revenue is as follows:
- League participation fees: $1,350,000
- Royalties (use of the club's branding in games and media): $2,455,000
- Sponsors: $3,225,667
- Services (coaching, consulting, etc.): $1,305,330
- Prize money: $300,000
- Other: $157,000
According to Lake, the club predicts an increase in its income to $9.4 million next year.
Currently, Complexity's Counter-Strike 2 roster is competing in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 in Denmark. In their group, the team lost to HEROIC but defeated OG. On 2 August, the team will face HEROIC again in a match for a place in the group's final round.
