Two more teams have concluded their participation in the LAN tournament IEM Rio 2024 in Brazil, following the second day of competition.
In the second round of the lower bracket of Group A, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek's team defeated Complexity (16:12 on Vertigo, 16:12 on Inferno), while Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad overcame Liquid (13:6 on Inferno, 13:7 on Dust2).
As a result, Complexity and Liquid finished in 9th-12th place at the tournament, each earning $5,000 in prize money. MOUZ and FaZe, on the other hand, advanced to the lower bracket final in their group – one of these teams will secure a playoff spot on 9 October, while the other will be eliminated from the tournament.
