Chopper on failure in BLAST Premier World Final 2024

Leonid 'chopper' Vishnyakov, the captain of Team Spirit, shared his thoughts on his team's defeat in the final of the recent BLAST Premier World Final 2024 for Counter-Strike 2. The Russian esports player mentioned during a personal Twitch stream that he and his teammates failed to put up a fight in their match against G2.

"We overthought things and made mistakes, which led to this result. That’s how I’d put it. We didn’t fight in the final. There was the desire, but things turned out differently in reality."

It is worth noting that the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 took place from 30 October to 3 November in Singapore, featuring eight teams. The total prize pool for the championship was $1 million. In the final, G2 convincingly defeated Team Spirit 3-0. Ilya 'm0NESY' Osipov was named the best player of the tournament.
