Chopper: "I don't think we need to change anything. We're fine"

Team Spirit captain Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov, in an interview with HLTV, refuted the rumor that the team is allegedly planning to replace Miroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia with Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy. Vishnyakov insists that Team Spirit has no plans to make any roster changes.

"These are just rumors. I don't know where they come from. We have no such thoughts within the team because we are a very young group, still moving toward our peak form.

I don't think we need to change anything. Everything is going well for us, and no one on the team is considering it. When we see things like this, we just laugh and treat them as a joke."

The Russian esports player also shared the mindset he and his teammates brought to London for the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, which started on June 12.

"I don't think we have any expectations from this event. We came to showcase what we've improved since Dallas and just play a good game. I think we have a very interesting group with many strong teams.

We'll try to beat everyone, but I don't think we'll be upset if something goes wrong. It's just part of the deal: if you want to win, you can't avoid losses."

Today, Team Spirit begins its performance at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 in the UK. The team is in a group with G2, Vitality, and Virtus.pro.
