Swedish esports player Hugo "chawzyyy" Gynther is no longer part of the Johnny Speeds Counter-Strike 2 roster. The team announced this on their social media page on X. Hugo had been with Johnny Speeds since February this year.
In the official announcement, it was mentioned that the team has not yet found a replacement for chawzyyy. Gynther stated that he is looking for a new team as a sniper and captain.
Johnny Speeds won one of four matches in the closed RMR qualifiers in Europe. Notably, chawzyyy did not participate in the qualifiers for an unknown reason; instead, Sebastian "dex" Samuelsson played as a stand-in.
