BC.Game will find a replacement for joel

The esports organisation BC.Game has released another official statement regarding the situation with Joel "joel" Holmlund, who was benched a few days ago.

The statement mentions that the club received formal confirmation from the anti-cheat developers Akros that the Swedish esports player was banned for using prohibited software before the start of the match against B8. However, Akros representatives have no evidence that Joel used cheats in other matches.

As a result, the management of BC.Game decided not to reinstate Joel in the roster and will instead look for a permanent replacement. The club promised to announce the new team member soon.

Holmlund, according to BC.Game’s statement, categorically denies his guilt. He promised to present his version of events in a comment to HLTV on 7 August.

It is worth noting that on 4 August, the 19-year-old Swedish esports player Joel was banned by the Akros anti-cheat during an official match against B8 in the online tournament CCT Season 2 Europe Series 7. The organisers disqualified the team from the championship. Shortly after, the BC.Game roster was suspended from participating in two more competitions.

The current roster of BC.Game is as follows:

- Guy "anarkez" Trachtman

- Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kjulukoski

- Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson

- Luka "pr1metapz" Voigt

- Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács (coach)
