The esports organisations Aurora and 9 Pandas have announced changes to their Counter-Strike 2 rosters ahead of the RMR tournament qualifiers.
The clubs have swapped players: Timur "clax" Sabirov has transferred to Aurora, while Yevgeny "r3salt" Frolov has joined 9 Pandas. Sabirov had been playing for 9 Pandas since April last year, while Frolov had represented Aurora since April 2024.
Aurora player Aleksandr "KENSI" Gurkin commented on the departure of his former teammate, stating, "We’ll be making it to the Major without rats in the roster, who have been trying to leave behind our backs for quite some time."
It’s worth noting that 9 Pandas will participate in the closed qualifier for the European RMR tournament. Aurora, on the other hand, received a direct invitation to the RMR.
