Two more teams have been eliminated from the IEM Cologne 2024 Championship in Germany following second-round matches in Group A's lower bracket.
The MongolZ were defeated by paiN (16-13 on Anubis, 10-13 on Mirage, 8-13 on Nuke), while Astralis fell to G2 (1-13 on Dust2, 13-10 on Mirage, 3-13 on Ancient). The losing teams finished the tournament in 9th-12th place, each receiving $16,000 in prize money.
PaiN and G2 will now face each other in the lower bracket final, with the winner advancing to the championship's final stage.
