Akimbo is poised to join the competition in ESEA Advanced

Following the disbandment of their ESEA Advanced Season 49 lineup after bowing out in the third round of the lower bracket playoffs, Akimbo has enlisted the revived G3 roster. This refreshed lineup features the Mongolian core from last season's OMiT squad, bolstered by Kamron "kmrn" Manii and Joey "hyza" Cornelius, who replace Yizhi "kralz" Zhou and Stanley "calamity" Chiu.

kmrn and hyza join Akimbo as a pair from the Zomblers roster of Season 49, which faced unfortunate losses against E-Xolos in the playoffs, including a defeat to Akimbo in the lower bracket. Now, they embrace the opportunity to wield the very banner that once ended their season, aiming to disrupt others' aspirations rather than falling victim themselves.

The OMiT core had a strong showing in ESEA Advanced Season 49, securing notable victories over teams like Unjustified, Strife, and Villainous. They progressed to the Upper Bracket Final, where Legacy bested them, and later returned through the Lower Bracket Final, only to face another defeat against Legacy in the Grand Final.

This season, with former Major attendees no longer in contention, the former OMiT trio regroups with aspirations to secure an automatic bid to the ESL Challenger League and avoid relegation. This goal is understandable, especially after their setback against E-Xolos LAZER in the unforgiving gauntlet of ECL Season 47 Relegation, which saw them miss out on ECL Season 48.

Akimbo's current lineup includes:

- Bishrel "N20AmZ" Tamir (Mongolia)

- Ochirbileg "obi" Shinebaatar (Mongolia)

- Andrey "Laxiee" Maks (Mongolia)

- Joey "hyza" Cornelius (Canada)

- Kamron "kmrn" Manii (United States)
