Renowned Chinese esports player Zhuo "advent" Lian has announced his retirement from his professional Counter-Strike career. He shared this news on his Weibo page.
The 31-year-old player did not specify the reasons for his decision but mentioned that he does not intend to leave CS entirely. In the future, advent plans to create educational content for beginners and build a youth team in China.
Advent has been active in the competitive CS scene since 2013. His last team was TYLOO, which he left in mid-May of this year. Before that, he played for 5yclone and Rare Atom.
In 2018, advent also tried his hand at coaching under the Chinese club ViCi. Throughout his career as a professional player, Lian earned approximately $180,000 in prize money.
