A patch has been released: map updates, new mechanics in the purchase menu, increased reward for killing with Zeus x27

In CS 2, a major update has been released featuring a map replacement and new mechanics.

During the night of April 25 to 26, a 2.3 GB patch was released for CS 2.

Now, in the purchase menu, it shows how much money players will receive in the next round.

Kills with the Zeus x27 now grant $100 instead of $0, while frags with the CZ75-Auto award $300 instead of $100. The reward for kills with the XM1014 has been reduced from $900 to $600.

Additionally, players can now launch workshop maps with others from the lobby. Valve has introduced a "Patrol" system, allowing players to review suspicious demo recordings and render verdicts on them.

Moreover, maps such as Baggage, Inferno, Overpass, Nuke, Vertigo, Mirage, and Office have been updated.

All changes can be found by following the link.

Furthermore, a left-handed mode has been added to the game, Dust 2 has been reintroduced into the official map pool, and the PGL Major Copenhagen capsule has been reduced in price by 75%.
