On the night of June 5, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2. The total weight of the patch was 127 MB.
Here's the list of changes:
- Fixed an issue where points were incorrectly incremented in Deathmatch and Race Arms modes.
- Fixed a bug where players could see through the ceiling.
- Fixed an issue where the bomb could get stuck outside the playable area.
- Various stability improvements.
The bomb bug was discovered a year ago on Nuke: if it was dropped in front of an open door on the A site and then the door was closed, the explosive would fall through the floor. The same error occurred at the B site, except in this case, the C4 dropped beyond the map textures.
The previous patch in CS2 was released on the night of May 30. At that time, bugs were fixed, and rules were tightened for players with VAC bans.
