A football club from Brazil has opened a CS2 roster

Brazilian football club Chapecoense has made a comeback in Counter-Strike after a four-year absence, signing a new roster comprising five Brazilian players. This announcement was reported by Dust2 Brasil.

The new team members are Eduardo "ST9RM," Everton "GRILOON," Henrique "SPOLTI," Igor "AVR," and Leonardo "SILVA." The roster was assembled following open qualifying competitions held last month in the Brazilian city of Chapeco, where Chapecoense is based.

Founded in 1973, Chapecoense resumed its esports operations three months ago, signing teams in various disciplines including VALORANT, Fortnite, League of Legends, and others.

New Chapecoense CS2 Roster:

- Eduardo "ST9RM"

- Everton "GRILOON"

- Henrique "SPOLTI"

- Igor "AVR"

- Leonardo "SILVA"
