Six teams advanced to the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, with a $425,000 prize pool after Fall Groups 2024 recently ended in Copenhagen. The victorious teams—Spirit, Vitality, G2, Liquid, Astralis, and NAVI—will get back together in Copenhagen this coming September. The remaining teams will seek the last two places in the Fall Final through the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024. The following are the eight best players from the event:
8. Keith "NAF" Markovic: 6.7
NAF's outstanding rifling helps Liquid unexpectedly come back. He was critical in guaranteeing the team's place in the Fall Final.
7. Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov: 6.7
Though Cloud9's performance was underwhelming, Ax1Le showed a solid personal performance that highlighted his talent and tenacity.
6. Lotan "Spinx" Giladi: 6.8
Particularly in trying circumstances, Spinx stood up noticeably for Vitality. For the team, his performance was a lighthouse of regularity.
5. Nikola "NiKo" Kovač: 6.8
G2 kept up their winning run, with NiKo driving the attack. Though not the team's highest-rated player, he shone brilliantly and proved crucial for their win.
4. Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov: 6.9
Spirit dominated the event without missing a match, and their perfect run was much influenced by sh1ro's amazing AWPing on essential maps.
3. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut: 6.9.
Though this wasn't ZywOo's most significant event, his performance underlined his dependability and helped Vitality to advance.
2. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets: 7.1
Spirit's success depends on Donk's regular outstanding performance, which helped them qualify for the next stage.
1. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov: 7.4
M0NESY recovered remarkably from a difficult start at the Esports World Cup 2024. With his outstanding performance, he led G2 and reiterated his status as the top aggressive AWPer on the scene.
Blast Premier: Fall Groups 2024 Results
Six teams are now locked in for the Fall Finals in Copenhagen next month, marking the end of the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024.
Top the Groups Liquid, G2, Vitality, and Team Spirit
Liquid, G2, Vitality, and Team Spirit topped every group in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups. Every one of these teams progressed without dropping a single map, looking instead at ease all during the event. Liquid looked like a natural in the part; this was their first trip with Twistzz as IGL. Teams will get samples of his preferred style, which will make things more difficult; this was a good start, though. G2 proved they could negotiate at the very top by showing their start with malbsMd, something more than a honeymoon phase now.
With ZywOo starring to bring them over the finish line, Vitality had to knock down a strong Astralis twice to reach the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2024. Still, we witnessed better performances all across for Vitality, which is encouraging for a squad with inconsistent late results. Finally, there is Team Spirit, which usually is the Donk and Sh1ro show once more. At this stage, we know what to anticipate from this lineup; the BLAST Premier Spring Final winners now have the opportunity to repeat the success in the fall.
Faze Clan and Cloud9 Flop
FaZe Clan had another letdown since their form is now essentially in the garbage. Their first series loss to Ninjas in Pyjamas in three years, with just Frozen displaying anything like positive form, underscored this most especially. How does FaZe Clan break out from this rut? We are unsure. On the other hand, should they keep underperforming at IEM Cologne 2024, FaZe may have roster adjustments ahead.
Cloud9 is another squad that could be more satisfactory in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups. They were dropped to the Fall Showdown this month after losing twice in a row in their first exhibition on a new roster. New signings ICY and HeavyGod looked good on their debuts, so Cloud9 has positives to grab. Though they need more time to understand it, there is some promise here.
Navi and Astralis Land's Last Two Places
We were taken aback to find NAVI faltering to reach the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2024. For the last place, nonetheless, they were in contention against Complexity; this was a task they readily overcame. One significant benefit for NAVI is the form of iM, who at last resembles he really belongs on the roster. Navi will very certainly threaten any team if he continues this into Cologne.
Not least of all is Astralis, who had to defeat a resurgent NIP to secure the other Fall Finals spot. Star riflers Staehr, stavn, and Jabbi have lately shown erratic behavior, which has caused considerable difficulty. Although this tournament wasn't a great display, they accomplished what they needed to; as always, the success of this Astralis team will rely on their capacity to establish some stability on the server.
