FURIA player Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato commented on his team’s recent victory over 9 Pandas in the match for a spot in the playoffs of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 in Serbia. In an interview with eScoreNews, the Brazilian esports player praised the opponent.
"I saw that shalfey said something in an interview. They managed to bring back the formidable FalleN, who dominated. But it was a good game. 9 Pandas performed well; the team is growing. It was hard to read them. However, for FalleN and chelo, the match was personal, so they were highly motivated."
Additionally, Cerato shared his thoughts on whether he considers his team to be the strongest in South America. KSCERATO also highlighted another Brazilian team, paiN.
"I would say we are the best team in the region. We’ve been performing well in many tournaments for a long time. paiN is also playing very well. I don’t want to make it personal; they are quite modest and just get their job done. Both teams are chasing their dreams. We are from Brazil, and we understand how challenging it is to play abroad without your family. They are handling it well."
FURIA advanced to the playoffs of BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2, finishing first in their group. In their debut match of the final stage, starting on August 28, the Brazilian team will face Virtus.pro.
