Insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov discussed a conflict between Virtus.pro player Denis "electroNic" Sharipov and Georgy "WorldEdit" Yaskin, which escalated into a fight. Both players had previously spent considerable time together on the FlipSid3 Tactics roster.
Furthermore, according to Biryukov, this incident somehow influenced the exclusion of Andrey "XomA" Mironenko from Virtus.pro's lineup. OverDrive shared this information on his personal Telegram channel.
"There are claims that electroNic fought with WorldEdit, and that also affected XomA's kick from Virtus.pro! I’m relaying this word for word. How it connects, I don’t know. <...> The fight between electroNic and WorldEdit did happen in Belgrade, outside the tournament. Denis was the initiator."
It’s worth noting that in early September of this year, Virtus.pro appointed Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev as the team's head coach. He replaced XomA, who subsequently joined Aurora as an assistant coach.
