Ganginho ends his playing career

The 23-year-old Ukrainian esports player Ilya "Ganginho" Chernychenko has announced his retirement from the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. While Ilya did not provide specific reasons for his decision, he mentioned that he has no regrets about the time spent in his career. He shared this news on his social media page on X.

"I have decided to end my career as a player. I am very happy that I have been playing this game since 2014. It was a wonderful time, which brought me many amazing people. But life is so fleeting that you cannot stay focused on one thing, and you must be able to take the next step."

Throughout his professional career, which began in 2019, Chernychenko earned just over $20,000 in prize money. Ganginho played for teams such as Sangal, Betera, Iron Branch, and others, with an average player rating of 1.15 over his entire career.
