Operation Arsenal has been released in CS2
On the night of 3rd October, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2, with details published on the official website of the shooter. The developers introduced the Arsenal, charms, new foot animations, and more. The patch size was approximately 5 GB.
Key changes include:
- The Arsenal, available in the store, now features three new weapon collections, two charm collections, two sticker collections, and a Kukri knife weapon case. Additionally, a separate skin for the Desert Eagle can be purchased.
- The introduction of the Arsenal Pass allows players to earn in-game currency, which can be exchanged for items.
- Charms have been added, which can be attached to players' favourite weapons. Only one charm can be equipped at a time.
- A seven-day trading restriction now applies to all items purchased from the in-game store (including those from the Arsenal), trade offers, and the Steam Community Market.
- A new slider has been added for precise wear level selection for stickers.
- Improved foot-to-ground synchronisation to remove tilted characters (the MJ lean).
- Running, walking, and crouching animations have been reworked to fix the wide/scissored leg stance during movement.
- Visual bugs have been addressed.
- Audio bugs have been fixed.
- New features for 3D modelling have been added.
- Several bugs on maps have been resolved.
