A new team has emerged on the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene in the European region, led by Danish captain Thomas "birdfromsky" Due Frederiksen, who had been inactive since 00NATION disbanded in February this year.
The roster also includes Johannes "b0RUP" Borup, Mateusz "m4tthi" Szambelan, Arek "Vegi" Nawojski, and Liam "Licale" Lecqcremo. The team will compete under the name Mission Possible, as announced on the social media platform X.
b0RUP previously played for Sashi and Astralis, while m4tthi was part of teams like NOM, ex-Anonymo, and Illuminar. Vegi formerly represented Permitta, Virtus.pro, and other organisations. The final member, 24-year-old Swedish player Licale, has limited experience on the pro scene, having only played six maps recorded by HLTV.
The team will be coached by Christian "akez" Kornbakk, who previously worked with Project G and played for teams like Apeks and Nordavind. The official announcement notes that Mission Possible is currently seeking an organisation and tournament invitations.
